Our T804 Trogloprobe system with the T812 Pan & Tilt camera has been chosen to inspect Power Stations by two of the largest UK energy suppliers. We are very proud to play a small part in the United Kingdom’s energy infrastructure. In situations where reliability and picture quality are essential under the most extreme conditions, the Troglotech system has proven to be the right tool for the job.troglotech gets hot wheels!
It seems this is industrial application year at Troglotech - this time it is inspecting the 360-degree welds in high- pressure pipework. The welds are made by an innovative automatic welding machine that performs an automatic 360-degree weld to create a pressure-tight seal. The Troglotech T812 Pan & Tilt camera’s part in this system is to follow the welder inside the pipe and inspect the welds. The Troglotech camera is perfectly happy in this hot, smoky environment, but the ABS wheels on the 12” skid do suffer a bit! introduction of Digital Measurements We have introduced a new method of making Digital Measurements that radically simplifies and expedites mapping defects and artefacts such as crack-widths in pipework. We have used the capabilities of our Digital Lens fitted to our T812 Pan & Tilt camera to provide accurate measurements of any artefact found while surveying pipework. Bore-hole mode for the T812 Pan & Tilt camera simplifies the inspection of vertical features (such as bore-holes and inspection chambers). Bore-hole mode switches off the Human Perspective View system and allows the operator to orientate the picture manually so that the picture can be interpreted more easily by the end customer.the troglotech T804 system doesn’t float - official!
Thanks to Lars of DKRT who constructed a water tank to display the waterproof qualities of the complete system, we can officially declare that the system doesn’t float - but it does go to prove that our IP67 rating for the complete system (with IP68 for all our cameras) isn’t just a paper qualification! Although this is an excellent demonstration of the Trogloprobe abilities, we would like to make it clear that keeping the system in a tank of water is fun, but not necessary for daily use release of latest software for the Trogloprobe system Troglotech continually updates its products and software to utilise the latest technology. We have released new software for the T804 Trogloprobe system - this release adds HELP messages during normal operation so that even a new operator will find the already simple operation obvious. Our new WiFi option allows direct connection with any mobile device, IOS, Android and Windows. This means that any video clip or snapshot can be sent directly to the end customer immediately (via Email or messaging) and the same information can be shared via the Cloud so that the information is available to all parties. The mobile device can also be used as a video recorder to capture the complete survey. One great benefit is that the survey can be wrapped-up on- site with no need for office time to create reports. The new WiFi system is also available to existing Troglotech owners - the system can be simply retro-fittedSnapshots and SD-Card recorder introduced.
As the availability of CF cards diminishes we have designed a new SD-Card recorder. Designed specifically for our industry it includes one-touch record, one-touch play, one- touch snapshot, no menus and fast response (less that 2 seconds to start recordings). Our new Crawler System is battery-powered, robust and all you need for successful surveys

Our systems are all battery operated so there are no dangerous voltages or generators required. We use the latest battery technology to provide a full days work from two crawler batteries and a single charge of the control unit battery.why battery power?
On most crawler systems up to 90% of the power is lost in the main cable. The cable can be increased in size with more copper to reduce the loss - but then the crawler needs to be bigger and heavier. In addition the cable voltage is often at lethal levels. We have produced a crawler that carries its own power source meaning that the main cable does not conduct any power allowing it to be much lighter. The composition of our cable is mainly Kevlar and the three small conductors only carry signals at safe voltages below 5V.4” - 39” with one crawler

Welcome to Troglotech’s Crawler System - The complete system is Lithium-
Ion battery-operated using the latest technology for long mission times and
this means that the system is lightweight and highly portable - and very
economic to use. As usual with Troglotech products, the system is highly
robust with the crawler being machined from solid brass and stainless
steel.
With a range of quick-release wheel sets (the wheel bolts are locked into
position for security) you can survey the full range of pipe sizes from 4”
(100mm). The crawler is steerable and has a reversing camera and lights so
that a survey can be performed in either direction.
The batteries on the crawler have a long mission time (up to a full days
inpection work) are quick-release and can be charged on-site or via a mains
supply
