T806 Wireless Remote Viewing System

Troglotech introduce their wireless remote viewing system, the T806. This system complements the T804 pushrod system, allowing the operator complete freedom to view the live video from the camera via a head-mounted display.

This allows the operator (or another member of the crew) to concentrate on placing the camera correctly and manipulating the rod without the need to be close to the control unit to view the picture. This increases productivity and safety allowing the operator more control over the rod and camera.

The T806 consists of Troglotech headwear fitted with a pair of video glasses, the housing also contains a wireless video receiver, rechargeable battery and charging system. The wireless transmitter is fitted to the T804 pushrod system, the housing also contains a rechargeable battery and charging circuit. The transmitter simply clips to the T804 frame and connects to the control unit via the supplied cable.

Ruggedness: The T806 housings are machined from solid materials, waterproof to IP67 (including all connectors and leads), and highly robust.

Ease of use: The T806 wireless system is charged overnight without the need to remove it from the T804 frame. Both transmitter and receiver are charged at the same time from a single mains charger (a 12V vehicle charger is available). Both the receiver and transmitter have a single push-button and red indicator showing that the system is operating. Once the T804 pushrod system is switched on, the live camera picture (complete with text, time + date and rod-counter information) is displayed via the video glasses. Simply wear the headwear and start working.

Safety: When wearing the video display, the live picture can be viewed by looking slightly upwards, the display does not obscure the surrounding view allowing the user to work safely. The T806 remote viewing system continues the Troglotech philosophy of using advanced battery systems in the workplace removing the need for mains electricity and enhancing safety.

Compatibility: The T806 remote viewing system is compatible with any inspection system that has a 'video out' connector. It is also compatible with all Troglotech cameras and systems
